Hey All,
Last year I posted a question on this forum for anyone that had any ideas for attaching a new style Cuddeback to a tree with OUT the screws or bearsafe box. I got nothing from anyone.
So a few months of thinking and this is what I have came up with. I refuse to carry a screw driver with me when Im changing my cameras from location to location and often enough I have wanted to attach them to metal fence posts.
Well here is my solution:
The clips and buckels cost me $1.00 and the strap cost me about 40cents and a thing of JB Weld.
This is definatly not the most secure way to hold them to a tree but if someone wants my gamecamera, the screws arent going to stop them, and Im not puttinng up them bear safe boxs everwhere. Think I will just choose less accesible areas to put my cams up.
I hope some one finds this useful for the future.
