Cuddeback- So aggravated. What to do?

I have a Cuddeback Attack IR that I sent in as it was not working. It was under warranty. I think this was the best camera Cuddeback ever made (I have 8 of them).

Anyway, they are telling me they do no have any and will not be getting anymore. They want to replace it with an Ambush (I have two and they are junk) or the new camera in a black flash. I do not like the black flashed and the new cameras do not have nearly the battery life.

I will not be buying anymore cuddeback cameras. For the issue at hand, basically they are not honoring the warranty. They will not refund money as I did not buy it directly from them.

What do I do? I don't want a lesser camera. They wont give me my money back. Do I try to sue them over a $250 camera? This is a load of crap and I'm pissed. I am not familiar with consumer laws.
 
What do the new black flashes retail for? I'd probably take a new one and try selling it new in box to recoup as much of my money that I could and then switch brands.

I have not read Cuddeback's warranty statement, so take this as a FWIW. But I would surprised if it was worded so tightly as to obligate them to replace a defective camera with the exact one you originally bought. I would suspect that it indicates that Cuddeback has some leeway in how they satisfy the warranty claim. So before suing, I would certainly check that language out so you don't waste your time and money.

Otherwise...I think the suggestion already made to take the new camera and sell as NIB is a good one.

Id drive to the nearest bridge, videotape yourself explaining why cuddebacks customer service sucks the big one, throw the junk camera off said bridge, and post it all of over the interweb after buying all brand new coverts.

The satisfaction will be worth $250 bucks I would think.

I am not trying to buy another camera. I am trying to get mine replaced.

I am switching brands going forward. That decision was made well before this latest episode.
 
I get that but it sounds like you can't get yours directly replaced or one that meets your satisfaction so I would take the more expensive one NIB and put it for sale.
 
Guarantee that their warranty says they will fix or replace with new model under their descretion. Ur being a bit dramatic.
 
Cuddeback=junk they know their cameras are crappy just like the rest of us already do. What more do you want if they are actually willing to replace it with a "better" model?
