Had some decent bucks to hunt this year, but nothing that made me say Wow. So decided to dedicate the rest of my gun season to hunting an ugly cull buck. For sure the ugliest buck I'd ever shot, he has the age, the body. He just didn't have the genetics.
He had the same identical rack last year. Except he's actually a little smaller this year. This buck has busted his rack off every year he s been around.
Last year he broke all his points off. This year busted one whole side off. Talk about a fighter. He even has a hole in the side of his neck from a big puss pocket from being stabbed.
He needed to go. Hopefully some of my young deer stick around more with this buck being gone.
