Does anyone know anything about the CVA muzzleloader. If so what is your opinions on them.

I own one, an older CVA Hunterbolt - 50 cal. I assumed ownership from a brother-in-law who had frozen up the breech plug. He said you fix it, you own it. Anyway, I have shot it probably 25-30 times. First ML I have owned so I do not have much to compare to. Shoots pretty decent groups out to 75-100. Haven't pushed it past that yet.

I bought 2 CVA Optimas for my kids and both have been trouble free. I've put close to 100 rounds through those ML's myself. They are simple, have nice balance, shoot straight, and they're not as spendy as a Knight or Encore.

The only gripe I have about them is the ramrod is to short, so they overcame that with a collapsible end that screws out.

BTW. They shoot 245 grn Powerbelts pretty nice.

I have a CVA Optima Pro. It's a great gun for the money. Has the pistol grip feel, and it very accurate.
