CVA OPTIMA OPINIONS

Anyone have any opinions on the CVA Optima?

I looked at one last week and I was impressed with the it for an entry level gun. So I bought 2 of them for Xmas presents for a couple of my kids. I would have liked to get them Knight but I could'nt swing that.

So far the stuff I've heard is they are very good shooters, easy to clean and maintain but the triggers are a little stiff.

What's anyone else think of them?

I field alot of questions about this gun everyday at work and so far I've only had one bad complaint. Everything so far indicates it's a great gun for the bucks. I know it's on my list of next gun to buy.

i have an optima pro in .50 cal I have been very happy with it. Like you said it shoots very well, cleans up easily, and seems to be a good all around gun. But the trigger is a little heavy. I'm shooting 250gr barnes expanders with 100gr of 777 and I've been very happy with it.
