Cybershot 5.1 megapixels

Just sent a sony cybershot 5.1 to Vman to see what he can do with it. Was wondering if anyone knew of anybody having any luck with this camera as a homebrew? Has a rechargeable litium battery in it so I am not sure how that will hold up in the cold. Would also like to know what type of trigger time this camera might have. I will let you guys know how it turns out regardless but just looking for some input from some of you junkies.

Hagshouse has a developement forum and I am pretty sure they avoid anything that doesn't take AA batteries. I am sure sony has many models that can work as do other makers. I would encourage you to look at hags for good sound researched feedback on camera types. By the way I would bet Vman is one of their testers. Jason?
