Any other iW alumni crazy enough to run the Dam to Dam this morning? Never thought I'd be able to run 13.1 miles yet here I go again.
 
Last time I did one I got passed twice by an old dude in jorts carrying an American flag. Apparently he had to take care of some business in the porta potty about mile 8. I was running 8.30 miles too! Haha, Good luck man!

I ran it this morning for the 4th year in a row I believe. I was pleased with my time and passed a few people twice because I had to take care of some business around mile 8 as well ;)
 
I could not run it this year due to work, but sure missed it. Of all the runs I have done, that is my favorite.
 
I did it!!! It was my first time doing dam to dam. Deerhunter93, I'm pretty sure I saw you as everyone was lining up on the dam. I was about to well your name...then quickly realized I don't know it, so about yelled 'hey iowawhitetail', but decided not to lol.

That's funny! My name is Drew and I had black short shorts on, no shirt, and a backwards red running hat on.

Whaaaaaaat 5:50 mile pace? That's cooking! I was a 1600 and 3200 runner, did the 2000 steeplechase twice. 1600 was my favorite, pretty solid 4:35 and had a 4:21 1500.

Yeah it was definitely you that I saw then, you were jogging along the edge of the dam and hopped the rail onto the pavement right by me
