Day packs

I found an under armour day pack for a reasonable price around $70. All the badlands packs are $100 plus slightly used. Are the badlands packs still far superior? I want for bow hunting, packing normal gear in/out. Not needed for meat transporting. Kinda looking at the badlands 2200? Curios what u guys think.

Packs

I've been using a Kelty, Redwing 3100 for the last 8 years or so. It's an excellent pack for what your looking for.

I've got three of them.

One for bow hunting

One for setting up tree stands

One for trail camera work

I think I paid $100 for a new pack.

I added Velcro strips on the back of it and I can attach my bow for hands free walking.

It also has cinch lines attached to the pack, so if you need to pack in extra clothing you can do it easily.

I have a field line pro pack the wife got me at Gander Mountain or Walmart I think. It was like $45 and if you ask my buddies I pack way to much gear in it. I can get my big rattling antlers inside of it too. I will have to look into the Horn Hunter packs too though, tough to find made in USA anymore.

I have found the 2200 to large for my deer hunting needs. I use the Badlands monster fanny and love it.

I know where there is a Badlands 2200 that has never been used that I think a person could buy. It may even have the new tags on it still?

I use the Badlands Pursuit pack. It's a little smaller than the ones you all have been mentioning but has adequate space for everything I need to bring afield. I actually picked it up at Fleet Farm this past October for $69.99. Great price, great pack...not too big but just right for all the essentials.

This year I pretty much switched from my badlands 2200 to just using the monster fanny. The 2200 works great for hauling stands etc. I found though if I just put the monster fanny on and throw the stand on my back it rides on the monster well it really distributes the weight much like the pack. The 2200 will still be the spring turkey work horse.
