Dead Buck?

On the way to class this morning I saw a dead Buck laying on the side of the road, should I let my DNR officer know incase they need it for testing or something?

If its on the side of the road, it was most likely hit by a car. Shouldn't be any testing necessary to determine cause of death. If it is something you want (nice rack) you can ask the dnr for a salvage tag and take it yourself.

somebody probably hit it by the time you got back someone i bet allready cut the head off. never take a rack without salvage tag the fine is set according the the score of the rack it can be VERY expensive.

I forgot to reply yesterday, My DNR officer said I could get the salvage tag "if someone didn't cut them off by the I got back to it" Thanks LYON
