Decent Mature Buck ?

I'd need more pictures but the head says young to me. no roman noes. the body looks big from that angle though.

He's definitely got the bases of an older buck. I can't say anything beyond that though.

I thought his face looked pretty gray too, but hard to say.

Ya, looking beyond the obvious big bases with overall mass and beam ridges - the grey face and the folds on the neck from past years' swollen neck ... also neck angles down to bottom of chest ... tells me mature.

Agree with above. I’d guess he’s mature. I may be dead wrong. But if I had $50 on a casino table… I’d bet 5 or older. I could lose that bet .

Maybe not cool to hijack your thread, but it reminded me of this toad from a card pull last week. Working backwards from the pic it took of me approaching the camera, pic was taken on Oct 16. Big sway belly.
