Decent morel season

Being tagged out on turkeys, I decided to go morel hunting this morning:

I swung by a couple of land owners' houses that grant me permission to hunt and gave them some.

I've had a great mushroom season, this was my third outing. Pics below are from the first two (the ones in the bag were found the first hunt).

I keep saying I'm done mushroom hunting for the year, this time I think it will be true.

Iv found about 10 pounds. but late last week i found 1-2 pounds big yellows that had started to crumble and turn brown. so im going again today then calling it a season. SE iowa seems too warm now

Nice mushroom huntin bag, same thing I use! This year has been good it seems, definitely finding them and when we find them seems they're larger than average.
