Yea, I could tell they were different, still a 2.5 year old weighing that much is unbelievable. But I guess you see alot of 300lb + deer.

Boy if a 2.5 is weighing 200+ I bet the fawns birth weight must be like 40lbs /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif to have that much larger deer they must be bigger bodys in general, buck/doe/fawns.

I'm no expert.. not even close. I have a friend from Pennsylvania who comes up to shed hunt every couple yrs. I know your deer are larger than theirs but he claims the animals here are double the size of theirs..deer, foxes, coyotes, all of them. I suppose thay have to be to survive the winters.
