Has anyone ever repainted their decoy?
I need to do something the paint is really getting bad on mine. It's a full
body target made of foam for target shooting. I've had it several years and
the paint is faded and scraped off. I'm looking for colors and any tips on how best to apply.

Thanks
Flatlander

It's not paint but it works. I used a full deer cape on mine.

WOW! Now that's a decoy! Rack, do you notice much of a difference with using an actual cape? It looks life like.

I've only used it one time since I put the cape on it. Freaked an old doe out but that's all the action I had. I'll have to try it again this year and see what happens. Maybe an old bruiser will put a whoopin' on him.

FLATLANDER, As far as painting one goes, I spray painted mine once before I did the cape job and it worked okay. Since yours is foam I'm not sure how it would work but it couldn't hurt to try a spot and see. I used a flat paint on mine when I did it and I thought it looked better. Give it a squirt of Krylon and see what happens.
