Decoys

Just out of curiousity, how many of you hunt over decoys. And if you do, when do you hunt over them the most pre-rut during the chase phase, or during the actual breeding phase. I have used one sparingly the past two seasons. I have had several does come into the decoy just to check it out. I have been waiting til the actual breeding is taking place with a doe decoy. I haven't used the buck decoy much. Do you guys use the buck decoy when rattling?

I would also be interested in this information as I am considering purchasing a decoy with all my Cabelas bucks I have accumulated.

Any tips on decoy brands, also what about scent control with a brand new decoy ?
