If they're not very pressured, have you guys noticed if they come out of the corn during the day or in the evenings like any other bedding area? Have you ever tried to stalk grassy areas in the middle of corn feeds?
My only experience with this is they seem like they like to bed in standing corn when the snow hits the ground ESPECIALLY if its got a grass patch in the middle of it facing south. I found 10 + sheds in a patch like this this winter.
They will bed in the corn for sure. I have hunted water ways and terraces before early season. See lots of deer come out of the corn in the evenings when scouting before the season. If we have standing corn here during the rut it makes it super tough
