Deer Farm Feed, Plantings, Minerals and Supplements???

I was just wondering, those places where guys raise giant bucks OR top of the line breeders AND the places with these disgustingly big monster bucks.... What is the feeding regimen like. In MANY EXAMPLES OR CASES- Specifically, can you tell me:

WHAT DO THEY PLANT?

WHAT MINERALS DO THEY PUT OUT (and quantities, ingredients, details, etc)?

WHAT DO THEY PUT OUT FOR PELLETS, SPECIFICALLY, INGREDIENTS, QUANTITY PER DEER, ETC? *Is that ALL most places are doing for feeding deer, almost all pellets???? **One of my buddies wants to raise a couple deer & try and have one big buck- just for fun, where does he get these, co-op, by the ton?

Is there ANY hormones or steroids? I doubt it and I did ask that once before BUT just curious.

Any grains or ag-crops at all? Corn, beans, alfalfa, clover (type if so???). Or APPLES, PEARS, etc???

What else can you say about making as close to perfect environment as possible (other feed, supplements, LOW STRESS!!!!, etc)?

I'm not going to do all those things on my farm in the wild BUT maybe a couple ideas could be integrated, some of it is curiousity BUT I really want to know what a PERFECT DIET and regimen is to grow the best possible rack, animal and create the BEST HEALTH. I'm very interested in just understanding and having the specifics on what these folks are doing in their contained & close to perfect environment????
*This post has NOTHING to do with high fence hunting or anything, don't go there. I also know the MAIN reason these folks have GIANT deer is because of GENETICS/BREEDING. I'm genuinely curious about the perfect feed, perfect environment and learning more about folks that raise a few OR tons of deer.

THANKS A TON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To go along with this, anyone ever try feeding Purina Antler Max? They make a water resistant pellet that has 20% protein.

Yep, and the nanny's love it! Set a trail cam on it and only 1 buck was there in time to try it, but there were 15 fat ole nanny's that gobbled the stuff right up.

None of you crazed whitetail fruit-loops know the in's & out's of raising deer?!?!?! :)

One of my good hunting buddies raises deer. If he can find good hay he will use that to supplement the main food source of high protein pellets.

I don't know how he compares to other deer farmers but he is in deep. Of the does he selects for breeding, about half are artificially inseminated from a UIUC vet. Most of the straws are pulled from wild deer nuts that he picks up from successful hunters throughout the season - 190in 6x6s and the like. It will be interesting to see what his herd genetics look like in 5-10 years if he is still doing it.
