Deer in water

Thought I'd share this recent photo.
I had set the camera up overlooking a slough trying to get some waterfowl pics. I sure was suprised to get these two deer. They are not crossing it, but are walking it lengthways.

Pretty neat picture. I wonder if they were feeding on all that fresh green stuff. A couple years ago I was able to film a doe walking along and feeding in a small river in Minnisota while on a bear hunt. She would walk along and some times put almost her whole head under water and come up munching on something green. I had never seen this before and I was able to watch her for quite a while.
