deer poached

just south of town apparently there's 2 deer that were found with the heads gone. If I found out about it, I'm sure a bunch of others know too. I have my suspicions who did it, but know know for a fact. The area CO knows about the unscrupulous charachter I suspect did it and is watching him. Is it worth a call or not? this crap really pisses me off.......

I would have to say that I would probably call the tip number if I was a hundred percent sure that someone had committed a crime of that nature. The problem is that sometimes just mere speculation wont have enough impact to achieve any results. Its a shame that someone didnt see that fellow in the area that those bucks were poached, that would at least provide some evidence. I guess I would just keep an eye out for that guy and maybe alert the DNR to the suspected activities.

I'd call with just that info. Let them know you are not 100% sure & let the investigation decide if there is evidence or not.

I wish there was a three strike program for game violations, then take away hunting priveleges

I called TIP once and because I didn't see the guy shoot the deer, they blew me off. They said I had to actually see it. Ticked me off as the guy poaches continuously. He'll tell you to your face even.
