Deer processing closed doors.

So what a way to end a good day out. . . We got one tagged today only to find out our local deer processing guy closed up shop. . . . And well known lockers close to Sioux City? It's said he had the best rates and was always busy. . . . . . I refuse to drive further to a locker than I do to hunt. . . . . .

That's a hike. . . I know berseford and tea south Dakota had one to I think. . . . . Makes me wonder why a shop would just close doors when he was so successful . . . . . .

Retirement? That's unfortunate either way

Just do it yourself. What locker closed? Alton/Babcock locker makes the best sticks around. Well worth the drive & $.

Mike aka the deer shed.... He was in Sgt. Bluff. . . . It was convenient for the 24hr drop off. . . . If you got back in town late you just pushed a button unloaded deer in the cooler filled out the slip and you were on your way. And I've never cut up a deer myself. Always went to a locker so I didn't mess up or waste any meat. . . Never had anyone show me. . . . I'm a computer guru not a butcher lol. . . . . I'm lucky that I can gut a deer. . . . . Lmao!

Lol. Hey, I don't care if you do your own deer or not but that excuse can't fly! I'm in software development for a living and even I can process my own deer. Ha. But to each their own, 'Merica!

Babcock in Alton should be a be similar distance as Beresford. Straight up Highway 60 and with all the bypasses shouldn't take long. You won't be disappointed.
