My good friend Randy was getting his decoy set up Wednesday night in the edge of a timber in a beanfield. He looked down in the draw and saw a buck running back and fourth through the draw, then ran right his way. He quickly went to his tree to hide behind it and picked up his bow. The buck came in and ran right through never even looking at the decoy. It was a small 8. Randy took a few seconds to gather himself after the quick episode. He tied his bow up to begin climbing into hi stand when he heard a grunt. He looked up and this buck then came running right in to his decoy. He had to untie his bow and get drawn with his back pack on behind his tree. He the stepped out enough to take the 12 yard shot, which he placed perfectly in the pumphouse. The buck ran about 45 yards and piled up. He had seen this buck a few nights before but did not know it was the three beemer until we found him.
