Just one last question. Maybe the wrong forum to ask it on, but a deer hunting fanatic of mine in SE Iowa says that Deer Caine attracts deer much better than plain cattle salt, to an area. It was my opinion was just Hype. Never used it myself. Also I thought mineral licks basically for summer months, but friend says deer use yr round. Any experiences with the stuff? Thank You.

I opened one of my deercaine site with a trophy rock and you ought to see the difference there.....Water softener pellets work extreemly well too.

the deer caine seems to work better when they are growing antlers like between april and august
