YARMOUTH — The DNR was alerted of a fish kill Thursday, after a resident found dead fish in the East Fork of Crooked Creek in Des Moines County on Wednesday.
Upon investigation Thursday afternoon, the DNR found dead minnows, bullheads, creek chubs and crawdads along three miles of the stream, indicating a pollutant is the likely cause of the fish kill.
