Diamond Iceman

Holy crap, I went down to the local Scheels and was absolutely floored by how smooth the Diamond Iceman is! Shot it along with the Bowtech Admiral and Captain, it may not be as fast as them (Iceman 305, Admiral 312, Captain 322) but it sure is head and shoulders above them in terms of draw cycle! Then shot the new Hoyt with that copy cat Bowtech riser... total tuning fork.

If you are in the market to get a new bow this winter or next spring do yourself a favor and shoot the Iceman, it's frigging awesome.

And you don't have two minutes to sharpen knives????? /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

The in laws are at the house... I think you can relate. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

We got the Iceman in a few days ago - really nice!
I think it will be a big seller. Very similar to the Admiral but decidedly different draw cycle - single cam vs Binary. They are giving you more options on the most popular size of bow.

What's your pricing on the Iceman Boyd? Scheels had theirs around $750 I think, certainly takes the wind out of my sails especially when I take the newborns into consideration! Another year of the Guardian? Not a bad proposition!

I'm sure my price is the same - but service is better! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/whistle.gif

I'm still trying to figure out how the Hoyt riser is a copycat of Bowtech?? It's not anywhere close to a center-pivot, but more of an extended limb pocket. It's got a large cutout in the riser where the limb attaches but that's about it....

Diamond Iceman. Sleeper bow of the year. I hear ya Boyd. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

It's not exact, just eerily similar.
