Do-it-yourself tanning?

Does anyone have any recomendations for tanning solutions. I am wanting to tan a coyote hide and possibly a deer hide. I know that you can purchase DIY solutions - has anyone used these? Are they easy to use? Any other ideas? Thanks.

you can usually pick up some tanning solutions at your local tanning bed. either that or ask your wife. good luck huntin this weekend alfa male without your sharp shooter bein there. its gonna be tough for you guys now.

No idea which to recommend, but you can go to vandykes taxidermy website and they will send you a free catalog.

My local Gander Mountain has the Van Dykes tanning kit for about $15.
