The lazy, Hazy, Smoggy, days of summer are here. Always come,,question is how long will they stay? without a break? Big block in atomosphere, that has brought fires to southeastern states has expanded westward to include IA.Could mean long hot stagnet summer. Hope not. I have planted many new trees and clover. Luckily clover got in on the early rain. This weather pattern sure to bring the "Climate Change", people out in force again.
 
If it wasn't for the Harley, summer would suck.

The way I see it, summer is the growing season for the food my fall prey will eat on til spring green-up as well as growing racks, fawns, and seeing short shorts, tight tops, and bikinis etc etc etc.

I hear there was a huge fish kill last summer in the res. Somethin about ammonia levels? The water did look a litte yellower last summer.

On another level, "So thats what it looks like when somebody 'drops their kids off at the pool'".

"Good Times", bikinis and beer may be ok for you young guys, but I am happily married, and work long days in the broiling sun. I need to seek a different occupation, now that I am down here in the humid stuff. I know "down here", is relative. My wife lived in Memphis for 20 yrs. Iowa is way "Up North" to those poor people, who start roasting the begining of April. If I worked in Airconditioning all day, would not mind summer either. I read this heat has been squeezed all the way to a little town near Hudson Bay, where is should be 60' forecast for Wed 90' up there. I think it is Moosonee, or something like that.
