Double Bull Blind Question

Just wondering what everyone thought about the Matrix360 compared to the BS5 prostaffer. I know they discontinued the BS5 but they have a new one for sale at the store. I've hunted out of the T5 and liked it, but wished I had bigger shooting ports. I know that won't be a problem with the Matrix, but doesn't it let almost too much light in? The ports on the "Prostaffer" are a lot bigger but it's got a big black "drape" on the inside that I'm not sure I'll like. Any input about the pros and cons of each would be great. Thanks!

I have a Matrix and if you use your head setting up, it works just fine on keeping light out. In the mornings I position myself to shoot to the west so the sun rises at my back. Exact opposite for afternoons. Yeah, a lot of people set the blinds up wherever, and that works great, but I like to back up into a brushpile or a tree. Keeps me from thinking too much.

I do know that I'd rather hunt out of a Matrix rather than the BS5.

I just got a matrix recurve model and think it will work very well. I have hunted quite a bit out of the BS5 and it was fine. I like the fact that I can see so much more out of the matrix. The extra head room is nice too.

Thanks for the input guys. I just got back from buying the Matrix. Looking at it set up, it seems like it's about the same as the BS5, but with more options and no black flap to deal with. Thanks again!
