Got my BS5 a while ago and was wondering what you guys bring with you while sitting in the blind. What kind of seat? I see DB sells a seat called the QS3. Anyone tryed this seat and if not what kind of seat do you use? DB also sells a bowholder anyone use it or find it helpful or just a waste of cash! Comments appreciated! My turkey season starts 5-21 here in MN. Any other tips for a first time DoubleBull user would be appreciated.

a bowholder is a must in my opinion. i have a 3 legged stool as well. another thing i carry is a black shirt or sweatshirt for wearing in the blind.

A great idea I copied is a five gallon pail. Take off the wire handle, drill a couple holes along the top edge and add a rope. Now it's quite (wire handle not bumping the plastic), about the right height, you can carry all your crap in it to the setup and it doesn't sink into the ground and get tippy. If you make the rope long enough you can loop it over the shoulder. Best of all it's CHEAP.

I use one of those collapsible chairs that you can get at Walmart for about $7. It comes with a bag and a strap for carrying and they are pretty comfortable. I would use my bow holder if I could find it, I think I know what timber I lost it in but haven't came across it yet.

DOR,
Both the seat and the bowholder are worth the money. The seat has a life time warranty and I have sent a chair in and recieved another one no questions asked. I have two chairs. Here is the link to the blind tote... Good Luck.
