dropping horns already?????stress!

Speaking with a friend today he said they are finding sheds already. Yes, from this year. They believe it is from stress. Anyone come across this yet? Also we are finding some dead bucks around, not from gunshot! Has anyone found this at their farm?

QDMer...there is a post in the Shed Conference titled "Dropping already". Bucks shedding this early is rare in my book and would appear to me to be stress related. Major injury or overpopulated deer herd. We have not had major winter weather which would produce this type of stress.

I found a 12 pt at my place over Thanksgiving with no obvious gun/arrow wound and the deer didn't appear gaunt. No sheds found thus far though.
