Earliest Velvet Shed

This is one of the earliest I’ve seen in central MO. I have a yearling that’s slick as well.

Seen a 160ish last Saturday morning hard horned.

Got pics of two this morning in Eastern IL. They are 110 miles apart. Cool to see. It must be starting all over the Midwest

With as nice of a winter we had last year, I'm guessing they got a Jumpstart on growth. Gut feeling is, bucks are gonna shed velvet a bit earlier then normal.

Had 2 on cam fighting last night. & saw multiple scrapes while doing farm chores. Testosterone is on the rise!

Same in the northeast, couple hard horned as of last week. Spring came early this year and everything seems a couple weeks earlier.
