early season scents ?

i wanted to know everyones opinion on using scents in early
october.most generally i don't use scent this time of year just
scent killer & stuff like that,i was told to use trails end 307
.waste of money or worth it ? i always thought i was better off staying scent free & not using attractants.

I use an autumn scent killer spray. Only lure I ever use is whatever brand of doe in heat I can find when the rut gets going.

The furthest I go is Scent Sheild autumn blend its great for early season.
