I JUST bought this golf cart in Michigan from Cross Country Golf Carts (Nov, 2011). I also brought it to Butch's EZ GO Golf Carts in Lucas, Iowa to have a few more things added. Here's a ball-park break-up of costs I JUST put in this, I estimated & gave best guesses on this- you can google for yourself though....

FROM BUTCH's, December, 2011: Controller (under warranty, I think for a year? Just got it from Butch's Dec 2011), New heavy Duty Wiring, New Battery Gauge, New mud flaps/guards, 1 new battery (Trojan), etc: $780
From Cross Country Carts: New Rear seat with pad & frame (awesome!), New Windshield, New Tires, Rims & Lift AND Speed Chip, etc: $950. I got a $300 controller from them with warranty as well because I wanted a new controller. Got an additional controller from Butch's EZ GO Golf Cart Dealership in Lucas, IA in Dec. - wanted to always have a spare, just in case.
I have $4,130 into the cart and maybe put 3-6 hours on it since then. + I have more $ into an extra/additional controller I just got from Flight Systems, Inc- 1 year warranty (a brand new one is almost $800 I think if you got it straight from EZ GO). Just got all this stuff & like I said, JUST spent about $4,130....
SELLING FOR: $3,245 for cart & the 1 controller that's in it OR $3,395 with the extra controller- so you'd have 2 (both under warranty) & second as the spare. I'd keep the additional controller if I were you since I'm adding it so cheap.
I spent a ton of time researching carts and looking into accessories. These are all major things you'd want & I tried getting the best deals and did this cart right & this cart has been gone over & in excellent shape. You're saving a chunk over what I put into this. ONLY THINGS WRONG WITH CART... Little scuffs & little chips in paint- basically, I was going to buy some touch-up paint but it didn't bother me enough so I kinda forgot. You could easily get some touch up paint, etc if it bugged you. Cart still looks nice. Mechanically of course, absolutely top notch.
Batteries were all load tested at Butch's in December 2011 just to make sure. All were in very very good condition- almost like new, except for 1- which I immediately replaced. Trojan batteries! They are the best batteries and you'll be thankful you don't buy a cart with junk batteries. Most things on this cart are new & especially the big things & things that could possibly ever break. Seat folds up or down so you can have a shelf or seats for more passengers. Windshield is awesome for keeping out of wind if you used for driving in cold weather to treestand or something. 2wd but I never brought through super swampy stuff or anything, got anywhere on my farm I needed it to + it costs a tiny fraction of Bad Boy Buggy & also doesn't drain batteries like those do. Goes about 20 mph with speed chip. 36v system. Super quiet, which is why I bought it. I'm a serious hunter and it's perfect for what I wanted. Butch's Golf carts went over whole cart, cleaned, greased, inspected and upgraded above with new items.
I'm selling this because my brother brought his cart to my farm, so- we don't need 2. His is cracked up so we're selling one in top notch shape. I have hardly used this thing & obviously my loss is your gain & this is a machine that's in great shape & you'd be buying something that's just had all gone through, checked, done right & made new.
