......Empty handed yet again.....

yet again this year i have come up empty handed during turky season. but i had my chances at a nice tom with liv4rut. and the last day of 4th season on a bearded hen i let walk... anyone else have a bad season????????????????????????????? but i do it all for the expieriences

don't worry about iowabuckhunter it happens to most people a time or two. Just be thankful you had the chance to be out there

I hear ya on a "bad" season... I was only able to work 2 different birds, had one come into 30 yards, I had no shot because of brush and thick foliage, but my buddy had 3 clear shots at him but in his words..."he was coming closer"

well long story short he walked away no worse for the experience. Other bird was on public ground and came into 60 yards or so but would come no closer. Never heard a bird on Wed. or Sunday mornings.... They logged the crap out of the woods this spring and I think they pushed all the hens out as well...

Oh well like said above was a blast just to be in the woods and watch the world wake up

Well I dont turky hunt so cant say i have had a season.

I had my worst season ever, didnt even see one or hear them.
