End of season congrats

Wow, a lot of birds were taken by gun and bow hunters this spring. I have really enjoyed the various stories, and the great photos. I'm also betting that many of you have noticed how much better the harvest photos have gotten in the last year or two - they look really good. And, as a person who kind of lucked into my bird this 4th season, I have a greater appreciation for those who put in the hours and the extra effort to put your tag on a nice bird. Once again, congrats to each successful hunter, and many thanks for sharing your stories and photos.
 
I'd like to echo CamoMan's thoughts. I've read all the stories of the hunts but haven't kept up with replying to all of them, so to all of you that harvested birds this year congratulations! Thank you for great stories and photos.

Now that the season is over even though we aren't ready for it to be it's time to reflect on the moves we made or wish we had or hadn't. While this season is fresh I've entered thoughts in this years turkey journal of things to do or try next year. It's going to be a long year.

Like AGS I've done more lerking lately than responding. I continue to learn from everybody's experiences and truely enjoy all of your stories/photos. My hat is off to all of you.

Congrats to everyone on a great turkey season. Thanks for sharing all of your stories and pictures. And thank you to everyone on the site that gave me turkey hunting advice that helped me get my first bird this season. I can't wait until deer season!

I also want to congratulate everyone on a great season. I myself did not fill my tag, but it was a tough year for me to make time. Your pictures and stories kept me sain on the days that I couldn't make it out to the timber. Good job to all of you. Deer season is only 5 months away!

I too want to say congrats to everyone, I had been out of town so I didn't get to post on everyones threads either, just to many going down to keep up once you are gone for a week. Anohter great season for everyone here, hopefully the deer season will prove equally successful.

Even though I had to eat "tag soup" this year, any time that I can be out in the woods and experiencing everything it has to offer, I'll take it. You're not gonna become better or learn anything sitting on the couch.
