expanded late season???

I heard from a guy I work with that they have extended the late season to statewide. Rifles are ok in the bottom two tier counties and shotguns, muzzleloaders, and pistols the rest of the state. Is this true??

The regs are as follows...

RESIDENTS ONLY:

• All counties will be open during the January Antlerless-only Season

• Antlerless licenses will again be available for all deer seasons in 2005

• The January Antlerless-only Season has been extended to Jan. 29, 2006, in southern Iowa (see shaded counties on map)

I have not heard anything to the contrary.

I have 2 tags - one for Madison and one for Appanoose counties (own farms in both) and the dates on the tags are consistent with the data posted by Limb Chicken (e.g. Appannoose dates run through the 29th).
