I heard the head of the Farm Bureau on the radio today,,going over the 2011 legislative outcomes. He said the DNR had proposed to cut back on deer permits,,but Thankfully the Govenor, did not let that stand. I know we all know this,,Old News,,but was interesting to hear him.

They kind of met in the middle on the deal. The quota didn't go down to the levels the DNR proposed, but they went down in some of the counties. Progress.
