The snap rollers and gathering chains have clutches. When I be spotted this "pick up", I thought: Nasty! I always hated cleaning them out when they got plugged with corn, let alone a deer!

I've eaten several coons and pheasants through the green machine but a deer, that is definatley a first for me. OUCH! Well probably not really.

Here's another on for ya. This took place in Minnesota. The farmer got a bear with the combine. He was combining his corn when the combine fell into a big hole. He thought it was a badger hole until a big black paw came out. Pretty soon a head appeared. They knew
for sure it was no badger. He wasn't very happy either. He was 300 pounds.
