Favorite ways to cook your venison?

With the season ending and freezers full, I am curious as to your favorite ways to prepare venison?

My long standing favorite is baking the chops submerged in BBQ sauce in the oven.

Just recently made venison poppers...stuffed jalapeño (with ground venison, spices, onions and cheese), wrapped in bacon. They were phenomenal if you like that sort of appetizer.

My dad marintates loins and steaks in that A1 marinate for awhile then usually cooks them over the fire. By far my favorite way for steaks and loins

Bacon wrapped loins, fajitas, jambilaya, ground meat in casseroles and tacos and such. (Hardly ever buy ground beef).

Found a Lawrys brand marinade, chipolte lime that was excellent on chops. The venison poppers as mentioned are excelent too. Use ground deer in many recipes as well. Found a locker that makes bacon cheddar burger, jalepeno pepper jack burger and blue cheese pepper corn burger. All of these are phenomenal. Wife also has a recipe for making hunter style Swiss steaks using deer loin chops that is delicious.

my favorite is just cuting butterfly steaks out of backstraps add a little seasoning salt, dip in flour then fry in a little oil till the outside is crunchy. easy and fast!

Cut up any part of the deer, into 1inch or2 inch chuncks take a pound of bacon cut it in half wrap the bacon around the chuncks of meat season with season salt or what ever u like put toothpicks in to hold the bacon on put on grill

I have to make venison loin carpaccio at least once a season.

Another favorite is sliced loin baked in a can of cream of mushroom soup, served over wild rice.

I have a lot of straight deer ground into burger, since it is so versatile.

We do the same thing except we wrap a half of a pickled jalapeno or mushroom in with each one. Had them last nite They're awesome

The favorite here is to soak the backstraps in Zesty Italian overnight then grill them! We keep basting the meat the entire time it is cooking, different but delicious!!!

Venison on a skewer, slice meat then put cream cheese on each piece, wrap in bacon on grill

Four pieces per skewer... You can add jalapeño if you would like, excellent!!

Cut 1-1 1/2 in medallions off the loin roll in flour, Season salt, and pepper. Stick of butter on electric skillet. Case of Busch light and some good friends.

Also, anyone using mushroom soup over the meat should try the golden mushroom soup.

Canned deer meat over noodles in the crock is hard to beat also.
