Residents can give views on deer feeding
The Clive Parks and Recreation Board will discuss deer feeding at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at city hall, 1900 N.W. 114th St.
The city has ordinances in place that prohibit anyone from feeding or interfering with deer or other animals in a public park.
Currently, feeding deer on private property is discouraged by the city, but not prohibited.
The meeting will be open to the public.
Residents can also express their views on deer feeding to Parks and Recreation Director Kelly Canfield by sending an e-mail to kcanfield@cityofclive.com or by calling 223-5246.
