Well it is not all that big but it is the biggest i have gotten on my trail cam. He came to the corn pile at 4:57 pm and left at about 5:45 pm. Shooting time here is 5:10 so i need to find out were he is coming from so i can get a crack at him. I showed my mom the pic and she asked my why i dont just go out and sit by the corn. She had no clue that was illegal. Here are the pictures, there are a cuple of different angles so let me know what you guys think of the score.

I am not even going to hunt him this season, i have enough meat and i just dont know how i would hunt him, i dont have enough time to scout him and find out where he is coming from. I would have to figure out where he is coming from and when he is doing it. The first picture it is just barely light out, you can see it if you look at the trees, but still would be way to stupid to take a shot with not enough light. Looks like this buck gets a free pass, until next year that is

Sounds like a good plan, he'll only be bigger next year! He's a great buck, hope to see more trail cam pics of him in the future. A pic of you holding his sheds this spring would be good too!

Hopefully he drops his sheds right smack dab in the middle of that corn pile. It will never happen but i can only wish. It sure would be something to go out there to get the mem card and see them laying there.

Great pics Kyle, and a great deer as well. I like your thinking when it comes to passing this deer. I'm sure it would be tough to kill this deer unless you had him pegged daily before sun down. This deer will be a hammer for sure next season. It will also be fun to find him early next season when he should be patternable and get some more pics of him. "Developing History" of this deer will make for even a more memorable ending to this story. Good luck with that deer and hope to see more to this story.

I LOVE trail cameras, these things are a blast to play with. It is like your a kid in a candy store when you pull that memory stick out and run home to put it in the computer and see what you have. I am going to set up on a ridge about 400 yards from this spot tonight with my bow, i wasn't going to hunt him this year but i have to try. Who doesn't try when there is a 150+ buck wondering around right at dark. If i can see where he is coming from tonight maybe i can get on him sat evening. I acctually kind of hope that he stays far enough out of shooting range so i am not tempted to take him.
