First Attempt At Frost Seeding

MO-APE

Member
I'm hopeful I hit the weather pattern just right this week for frost seeding white clover & chicory. Our nights on the MO/IA border got into high 20's and the days hit low 50's. My only concern now is that we only had 2 days of that pattern and the heat wave and dry spell projected for the next 10 days. Do you guys think I'm ok?

Yes. Clover is easy & you'll be fine. In all reality- a guy could seed it 2 weeks from now & be fine.

Thanks Sligh, nervous about dumping six or seven $20 bills on the ground. My first year as a plotter was rough to say the least. I had epic failures at brassicas then winter rye...i just didn't know what to do with all that moisture :) .
