First Bow ?

I'm buying a bow for my twelve year old boy this Christmas and could use some advise. He grew 8" this year and keeps growing fast. I expect him to be a lawn egg like his ol' man. It will be his first bow and I want him to be comfortable but understand he will grow out of it soon so don't want to spend to much. I have a good friend(as we all do) that owns an archery shop but want to here from you guys first.
Thanks,

to every post on a kids first bow i always respond the same. a browning micro midas 3 is probably your best bet. when i was selling bows these little bows were awesome. draw length of 18-28 inches and a weight of 25-40 pounds. of course, i may be wrong as i have been out of the business for awhile now and my memory...well, it just sucks. maybe if your buddy owns the shop would cut you a deal on a bow if you took really good care of it and traded into another new bow next year. sorta like leasing a bow or something along that line.

Go to the parker bow website and look at the challenger. I got this one for my wife and it works out great. Just change out the module to change the draw length like 23-28 inches based on the module. good shooting and lightweight Parker bows

Go with the PSE SpYder Synergy 4. I bought my daughter one 3 years back when she was seven. Her bow will go from 10-30 pounds as her draw length increases from 16 to 21 inches. I just ordered another for my youngest for xmas. Great little bow!!
