Since it has been slow here lately I thought I'd post a pic of the new years day doe I shot. I pulled myself away from the football games long enough to have a great evening sit. Saw a bunch of deer and missed a few opportunities due to bad timing and too much brush. Then I had this doe along with 3 others come down and drink from the creek and all were within 10 yards. Less than 7mos to go.
Also here is a picture of my first coyote with a bow. I saw more coyotes this than ever before. In october I was seeing at least 2 or 3 dogs and hearing more each night. One afternoon this MONSTER coyote came in with another one and my jakhammer did a number on him. Right behind the shoulder and knocked him to the ground and he couldn't get back up. The only bad part was he rolled over and snapped the arrow in half. I think he went all of about 20lbs. What a rush though!
