First Night in the Stand

Well the IN archery season opened yesterday in the urban areas and I was able to get out and enjoy a great evening in the woods this evening. Only saw 2 deer, not sure why the movement was down but we had some 25mph winds that probably weren't helping. Hopefully, the next few days bring some better luck. Regardless it was great to be back in the tree holding the ol bowtech.

It was good to be back in the stand for me too. I needed it after this long summer. The Coralville doe opener was last weekend. I had 2 down by 8am Saturday and decided that was enough work for the day. Had fresh backstrap on the grill and chalked it up as a good day.
