A Few Steps Ahead Of You
Well, long story short, I lost $1200 of trail cameras a month ago as they were stolen out of my truck as it sat in my driveway, while we were home..... Hopefully, I won't find out who took them as that would end pretty badly for those who ripped me off..... I got no time for lazy people like that.... It was quite a devastating hit considering my story ideas from running cameras all summer....
Well, I was strolling through Wally World the other day and saw these Wildgame Innovations cams for $50 a piece... at first I blew it off cause I didn't beleive they would be worth a hoot.... Im a "you get what you pay for" kind of guy... I was still kinda curious and did quite a bit of research, and even called the company to find out what the deal was, what makes these things soo cheap.... I looked at a dozen different websites and reviews, there was honestly not a negative word... they are $50 bucks, dont expect a cuddeback or reconex, but they take quality photos, especially over a bait pile...
I decided to buckle and bought 3 of them, which was still less than one of my other cams.... This isnt the first time I have lost cameras, and I decided to somewhat replenish my collection of cameras for a lesser price....
I put all 3 out last Saturday and pulled them just yesterday, (Friday). Like I said, they are not $300 dollar cameras, but I am very happy with these things and would recommend them. I have plans for a few more!
SO, enough of the story, Site 1 & 3 didnt produce much more than some does, fawns and small dinks... but for 6 days, im not too worried. Site 2 had 113 pix in 6 days, and I am pretty pumped
This guy was my VERY FIRST pic, and I got over 30 pix of him..... I think him to be 3.5 and near 135.... He will probably get the pass this year as he could really blow up next year, and I would guess as a 12?? he has a small G5 poking out on his right beam.
whaddya think?
Then This guys showed up for a few shots.... It is hard to say what exactly he is, but if he walks by, I plan on following a crimson trail and feeling his rack personally... He has some crazy stuf going on, looks like a common base G3&4 on his left beam, and some major mass.... but I will need more pix of him including some daylight pix to know for sure... He is a dandy regardless!
and finally, I got this big guy, Id say mature for sure, saggy belly, carries his mass throug out.... gonna be tough to bring down....
Id say he is the boss of the area and most dominant dude around....
Definatly Mature as he has young with him....
probably too smart having played the game for quite a while
