As this will be my first season bowhunting, I just wanted to thank everyone on this site that has provided me with invaluable information! With your help, and hours spent (not to mention lots o' money) sticking the Block, I hope to fill several tags

You will have a whole new perspective on gun season after you have bowhunted. Good Luck and shoot straight.

Up until this point I have only hunted early and late muzzleloader... I have never hunted shotgun season, and from what I have heard about it, I have no desire to

Once you have taken a deer with a bow, shotgun season will never be the same!!

I was in the same position as you last year. You're going to have a great time. Being in the timber during the fall is an absolute pleasure.

I didn't even get a deer last year. I kept letting everything walk because I didn't want to quit hunting.

I hope you have a great first season with your bow. I didn't even have a deer close enough to me my first year to draw back on. Took me 3 years to get my first one. Now I am hooked bad. Even thought for a second about selling my high power (I hunt Nebraska) But it only lasted a few seconds. Still it has been 4 years since I have even applied for a rifle permit. Good Luck!!!!

Avid,

About 25 years ago I took my first bow stand only because I wanted to hunt more than a couple of days per year. Now...they could take away everything but my bow season and I would still be a very happy hunter. Get ready for the addiction bud!!
