I have thought about using them too; just haven't bothered to yet. Great reviews on these AT threads. I believe you have to use a dropaway rest, which I do, but that is the only issue if you are not a drop away shooter.

Now that is funny.
Jamie,
Have tried them and really found no advantage that I could tell in accuracy. Send him an email and he will send you a couple to try. That bow you have now is a tack driver you can shoot bare shafts with no problem... /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
I don't have any accuracy issues now, just like trying something new every once in a while. Pretty neat product unless you're shooting first at a 3-D shoot. /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
They work and shoot great. I was shooting them out to 50 yds with no problems. The one thing I didnt like about them with easton axis arrows is that the nock is so short when you draw back you can feel the Fob on the string. Kind of like a kisser button. It didnt feel natural. Now that I have gold tips now, I think it would be different. I will probably try em out again. They do fly good though.
I saw there was some FOB talk here so I thought I would join in if that is OK?
I promise NEVER to try and sell anything. Just answer questions and help.
Re: Noise….Lots of data on this one. The noise generated by the FOB comes off the back end of the FOB which is directed right at the shooter and sounds different. This is caused by the air being compressed and de-compressed (this is how we get so much bang for the buck). When ever someone calls and says the FOB makes to much noise, I suggest that they stand SAFELY at the target end (behind a tree or something) and have someone shoot a broadhead at the target and compare to a fletch. So far most everyone who tries this agrees that the FOB makes less noise or no more than fletching. A fletch will fold and flutter under load and makes noise.
