Thanks guys. The shed is from the Lovstuen bucks 2001-02 rack. Either one of his sheds or the whole rack will be in all three images in the foggy morning series.

I don't know about your monitor but on mine the saturation is way to high so don't put to much stock in the color intensity.

You coulda put a decent tractor in the background. That looks like a Farmall M and the "M", as all of us know, stands for motionless. Other than that, wow.

GREAT work!! I love the way you put the shed and morel mushrooms in the painting. Nothing says Spring like shed, mushroom and Turkey hunting.

Lost box call

Old Buck, in an earlier post you mentioned putting in a lost box call in a painting. Is that the call on the left side of the painting or am I seeing a limb?

Re: Lost box call

Thanks for the compliments. I've got to agree. After all the work it did come out very nice. Just wait until you see the framing combinations we've come up with. And then there is the canvas....

Yes, that is a turkey call in the lower left corner against the base of the tree. Some poor guy probably jumped up to secure his flopping gobbler and forgot all about the call. The sad thing is I lost my favorite box call after close to 20 years and dozens of gobblers. The handle was worn shiny from use. I'm still feeling bad about the loss and it was several years ago!
