For you bowhunters....

Hey guys,

I just bought a bow bipod and the thing is SWEET for turkey hunting out of a blind. You can't even feel the weight and it doesn't effect your shooting at all. Also the bow is always right in front of you ready to rock and it takes up a 1/3 of the room than having your bow laying on the ground. It also helps alot when you got multiple hunters in the blind. I wished I would of bought one sooner, so I thought I would let you all know, this is a definite must have for bowhunting out of a blind. I know some of you may already have it, but for those that don't, I would definitely invest in this bad boy.

Bow Bipod

I tried the bowholder last year, but had too much troubles or not enough patience most likely, putting my bow in it and taking it out of it fast. I didn't like carrying it either

I usually carry an extra face mask and just lay it on the ground so my cam sits on it and no mud or grass touches the cam

My old taxidermist in GA helped to design the bow bipod, actually called the vertical advantage. He has killed 44 turkeys with a bow, all without a blind! If you go to www.bowonlyoutdoors.com you can see 2 versions of the product, a cheaper one and a nicer one. It's a popular product with non-blind turkey hunters as it limits your movement, but lots of blind hunters are using them as well.

I want to know how the "blind" hunters are doing it. I can see and I still can't kill a turkey!

Skully,
Don't feel bad I am having the same problem right now.
I called in two toms Sun. within 35 yards. They were too far to shoot with a bow so I told my buddy to shoot one with his gun. He popped his head up and off they went. Mon. I had the catbird seat watching Mr. Tom for 2 hours but would not budge. Did call a hen in at 5 yards and then I caught 7 jakes behind me. Needless to say they saw me and off they went.
I have been tracking down everything black since yesterday.

Keep at it Skully. My birds are in trouble I am just starting to get p.o.

I went blindless last night a missed a jake at 25. Rushed the shot, shot over them. Second shot at 50 wasn't a good decision either.

I was at Bass Pro's Outlet last fall and they had a Vertical Advantage™ Bow Bipod for $10.00. Needless to say I grabbed it. I've used it a couple of times and really like it. It works very well, just as Liv said.

I found this bow holder quite some time ago.
It works well both in a tree stand as well as
a ground blind and it can be adjusted to keep
a bow in a fixed position either vertically or
horizontally. It's the only thing I trust and use
to hold my bow when I go out hunting. Check it out.

That is funny! You can still use a slate call and have a free hand if you use the Freak. I love that call. And please, no strap on jokes!
