Free RR Seed Corn

Free Seed Corn to any IW member than wants it. It is RR and if I remember correctly about 100 day. Its a couple years old so germination will be down a bit, but will be fine for food plots. I just won't use it.

I am not a corn expert...but knowing how much corn costs just to fertilize and plant...I would be skeptical to use 2 year old corn. I plan on putting in some corn this year for the first time.

But maybe it would be just fine. It looks like it was stored well though.

Ive got quite a bit Im giving away to another member that is RR Pioneer corn. It is also 2 yrs old and I did a germ test on it and had a 79% germ. Soil temp was a little low and some were just barely starting to sprout when I checked so Im guessing it is probably closer to 85%. My old man works for pioneer and I was just talking to him yesterday about it and new seed corn is guaranteed by pioneer at 92%-95%. Considering a bag of corn costs like $300+ I think, Id stick with a little lower germ for just foodplots if youre getting the stuff for free.
