Freezing deer jerky

I had an abundant amount of whole muscle deer jerky made this year. It will take awhile to eat it all, so I want to know the best way to store it. Is it ok to freeze jerky? If it is ok to freeze it does it taste the same or does it change the flavor?

If you seal it put it on the lowest setting so it doesn't compress the jerky together. Otherwise once it thaws it'll be one giant chunk all stuck together.

If there is a concern of compressing together, I have placed wax paper between the layers and that has taken care if the issue.

Vacuum pack it and you're good for a long time, frozen or even just refrigerated. I must do mine a little drier as I've never had it stick together. Did hind quarters off two deer this year into jerky which were sent to nephew in Afghanistan. Made 4 flat rate boxes full. He was one popular platoon leader at least for as long as the jerky lasted.
